Gatherings at Fishermen’s Inn Open House

Last weekend David and I had the pleasure of photographing the Open House for Gatherings at Fishermen’s Inn located in Elburn, Illinois.  It was an amazing day of delicious food, drinks, music, and of course taking in all the breathtaking views and new renovations.  It was fun to hear stories from guests who had enjoyed coming to the Inn for dinner, events, and many other special occasions in years past.  David and I remember dining at the Inn for a church Valentine banquet years ago and also a family wedding rehearsal dinner.  We have already had the honor of photographing a wedding at the newly finished Fishermen’s Inn this past May.  You can view some of the photos in one of our  Facebook albums here.  It was a joy to photograph the bride and groom amongst the rustic elegance of the Inn.  This is a very special place to so many people.  We hope you enjoy the photos.

The Meadows Family ~ Northern Illinois Family Photographer

I had the pleasure of photographing the Meadows family back in January.  Wow….they are a gorgeous, diverse,  fun, & sweet group!  I loved seeing the older siblings interact with the little ones (those twins stole my heart).  I sure had to work hard to get this first photo below, but it was worth every crazy facial expression, silly noise, rolling on the ground, and starburst candy.  =)  This family is blessed to have each other!

Taylor ~ Class of 2014 ~ Indian Creek High School ~ Illinois Senior Photographer

Last August I photographed sweet Taylor for her senior photos, and just seeing her images again makes me crave Spring and Summer all the more!  We had an abundance of gorgeous sunlight to work with, and wow….she has the most beautiful blue eyes!  Here are some favorites that we had printed into a book.  Enjoy your senior year Taylor & keep in touch!  =)

Hannah ~ Class of 2014 ~ Rochelle Township High School ~ Illinois Senior Photographer

Hannah is a natural beauty and her sweet laugh is so contagious!  I had a blast photographing her senior photos this past November and hearing about all her interests (volleyball, reading, shopping, … =) and future plans.  I love meeting so many awesome young people!  Thank you Hannah for choosing me to document this pivotal time in your life…dream big!

Meet gorgeous Megan.  What a natural beauty she is with such a sweet spirit.  I LOVED her photo session in the beautiful golden fields with that adorable white dress….loved her fun casual urban style too.  Wow, her beauty shines!
